【星岛都市网】10月17日周四晚，多伦多的天文爱好者们目睹了2024年最大、最亮的满月，也是15多年来最显著的猎户月。
猎户月（Hunter’s Moon）是指在日历上最接近秋分日的满月，今年昨晚出现的满月是 2007 年以来所见的最大、最明亮的。

昨晚的月亮也标志着今年的近地点超级月亮的出现，这是今年最亮、最大的超级月亮，月球绕轨道运行的距离为357,353公里，比一般的满月明亮大约16%。

10月17日的近地点超级月亮将被证明是今年距离月球最近的一次，但它仍不及2016年11月14日的超级月亮，那次超级月亮吸引了全世界的目光，也不及2007年10月26日更大的猎户月。

虽然周四晚上的超级月亮——今年的第三次超级月亮——将是2024年最大、最亮的超级月亮，但在今年结束之前，还有一次看到超级月亮的机会。
2024年的第四次也是最后一次超级月亮将于11月15日出现，距离地球361866公里。
