【星島都市網】10月17日周四晚，多倫多的天文愛好者們目睹了2024年最大、最亮的滿月，也是15多年來最顯著的獵戶月。
獵戶月（Hunter’s Moon）是指在日曆上最接近秋分日的滿月，今年昨晚出現的滿月是 2007 年以來所見的最大、最明亮的。

昨晚的月亮也標誌着今年的近地點超級月亮的出現，這是今年最亮、最大的超級月亮，月球繞軌道運行的距離為357,353公里，比一般的滿月明亮大約16%。

10月17日的近地點超級月亮將被證明是今年距離月球最近的一次，但它仍不及2016年11月14日的超級月亮，那次超級月亮吸引了全世界的目光，也不及2007年10月26日更大的獵戶月。

雖然周四晚上的超級月亮——今年的第三次超級月亮——將是2024年最大、最亮的超級月亮，但在今年結束之前，還有一次看到超級月亮的機會。
2024年的第四次也是最後一次超級月亮將於11月15日出現，距離地球361866公里。
