据CBC新闻报道，Vaughan市政府今日宣布，原定于周末举行的Carnival Kingdom狂欢活动由于主办方未能遵守某些规定而被撤销活动许可证。由于距离活动开始仅几小时，不少准备好狂欢的游客十分愤怒，纷纷上社交网络表达不满。
Vaughan市政府发言人在一份声明中称执行人员有义务确保以公共利益出发，活动符合所有的条件。而且他们也接到了市民对于此次活动的投诉。
Staff revoked the permit of the event (SOS FEST) after it was determined that organizers did not comply with the terms of the permit. Enforcement staff are committed to taking the necessary action to ensure all permit conditions are followed in the best interest of the public.

不少民众纷纷表达了自己的不满，认为政府的做法“不可思议”。
This was beyond disappointing. Please indicate which terms specifically @SOSFestTO were in contravention of!!! We had guests visiting from around the world and this was not how we wanted them to experience Toronto!

Carnival Kingdom 在一份声明中称活动符合每一处流程。“许可证在活动2小时前被撤销。而我们不清楚全部的理由。活动的每一处执行都完美地依据流程，保持专业。”
据该活动的Facebook页面显示，周六晚上的活动吸引了世界各地超过1万人次。还有许多人专程飞来多伦多参加。该活动的Instgram 页面称退款将在72小时内发给购票者。（Alice编译）
