【星岛综合报道】安省小镇歌连活（Collingwood）近日出现一位意想不到的“访客”，一头驼鹿被当地省警幽默地取名为“Elliot Moose”，周二（22日）早上现身市内多处，由海滨步道游荡至附近街道，成为城中话题。
安省省警（OPP）提醒市民，虽然这位不速之客甚为吸引眼球，但最好从安全距离欣赏。警方呼吁市民提高警觉，若遇上驼鹿请格外小心，并遵守以下建议，带狗外出时须全程使用狗绳；切勿靠近或喂饲动物；与动物保持足够的安全距离。
警方指出，驼鹿属野生动物，行为难以预测，尤其在感到受威胁时更可能作出突发反应。当局呼吁市民若与Elliot Moose相遇，应主动让路，让牠自由通过，不要骚扰牠，如此方能确保居民、宠物及Elliot本身的安全。
