【星岛综合报道】加拿大资深新闻主播Lloyd Robertson于周二（4日）晚病逝，终年92岁，家人已向加通社证实消息。
Robertson于1952年在安省Stratford家乡电台展开新闻工作，1956年加入CBC电视新闻，1976年转投CTV，1984年起担任《CTV National News》首席主播兼高级编辑，直至2011年退休，主持晚间新闻长达35年。
他曾报道柏林围墙倒下、九一一恐怖袭击等多宗重大国际新闻，退休后继续主持时事节目《W5》，至2016年正式离开幕前。
Robertson以结尾名句“And that’s the kind of day it’s been”深入民心，并于1998年获颁加拿大勋章。
贝尔传媒新闻部副总裁形容，Robertson为CTV新闻留下“不可磨灭的印记”。
接替他出任首席主播的Lisa LaFlamme亦在社交平台发文悼念，形容他是自己的良师益友。总理卡尼亦发文致哀。
