1. 在痕痒处涂抹一点牙膏，这方法对止痕很见效。
2. 没有牙肤，涂点阿摩尼亚水亦能止痒。
3. 可于被咬处涂一点花露水或风油精。
4. 亦可将一颗蒜切开，用断面涂抹被蚊咬到的部位。
5. 将万金油跟盐伴匀，涂在在红肿处，会有减轻痕痒的效果。
6. 将阿斯匹灵药丸磨碎，加点水后涂抹在被蚊咬处，也可消炎消肿。
7. 另外，搽一点番枧亦可迅速止痒。
8. 用冰袋或冰块冷敷痕痒处约20分钟，可令搔痒消失。
