【星島綜合報道】卑詩省內陸公路平安夜發生嚴重車禍，一輛巴士在公路失控損毀，目前有數十乘客被送往多家醫院救治，內陸衛生局馬上啟動「橙色代碼」進行拯救。
內陸衛生局表示，一輛巴士在平安夜行駛期間，於97C公路奧肯納根（Okanagan）路段發生嚴重車禍，暫時未有死亡報告，但內陸衛生局證實有53名患者被送往附近三個城市的醫院救治，當局無法提供相關傷者的任何信息。
內陸衛生局在推特上指，他們會盡一切努力，聯繫受害人家屬。
警方正調查意外原因。
卑詩省長尹大衛（David Eby），省公共安全廳長范和富（Mike Farnworth）、衛生廳長狄德安（Adrian Dix），以及交通廳長范廉明（Rob Fleming）周五晚發表聯合聲明，省府對於意外事件感到震驚及悲傷， 承諾會為受影響人士及家屬提供幫助。
