據CTV新聞報道，根據加拿大Mortgage and Housing Corp. 報告稱，建房速度比起三月下降15%。

聯邦機構員工稱，季節到年度建房數額在4月是214,098個單位，而3月是252,305個單位。專家對4月的期望值是210，000個單位。

對數據影響最大的是多個單位樓房，下跌16.7%，獨立屋下跌12.1%。
