【星島都市網】一名女子Natalia Smith日前在社交平台TikTok發帖,指遭黑客盜用信用卡於Costco購買一條價值$2999的金條。
她表示事發當日收到大通銀行(Chase)短訊通知有關消費,隨即報案並取消信用卡。她同時發現大量垃圾電郵湧入,相信電郵賬戶也遭黑客入侵。
起初銀行願意退款,但之後Costco表示貨品已送到事主舊地址,並由一名叫Vanessa的人簽收,故此交易有效要重新收費。
Smith向警方報案,而銀行則表示需要Costco確認交易非經事主授權才可退款。但Costco指由於訂單已送達,故無法處理。

Smith最終提供多項證據,包括證明帳單地址與送貨地址不符、現居地址證明,以及駕駛執照證明簽名與「Vanessa」不同。Costco最終同意取消交易。
不過Smith質疑為何沒有正確的帳單地址交易仍能完成,但銀行及Costco均未能作出解釋。
該TikTok視頻獲超11,100次觀看次數。她之後上傳了另一段影片,呼籲民眾若遇到信用卡被盜用,應立即報案。
