■雷克特與愛貓在印度洋漂流7個月後，於聖誕節當天獲救。法新社

波蘭一名54歲的男子雷克特(Zbigniew Reket)在今年5月的時候帶着自己的愛貓乘上了帆船，打算就這樣前往南非，但帆船卻於半途故障，雷克特就這樣與愛貓在海上漂流，直到聖誕節當天才幸運獲救，而雷克特透露他能存活下來全都靠中國湯羹。

英國《鏡報》報道，雷克特獲救後受訪說，喜愛旅遊的他自行改造出一艘帆船後，5月20日自印度洋上的島國科摩羅出發，前往距離2000公里的南非德爾班，即將出航之際，在港口邂逅了一隻流浪貓，貓咪也開心地搭上雷克特的帆船，沒想到意外就此發生。

帆船出航後引擎就出現問題，攜帶的無線電設備又因沒電派不上用場，導致一人一貓就在海上隨波逐流，這一漂流就是7個月。雷克特表示漂流中途數次看到地面與其他船隻，但就是無法靠近它們，大聲呼救也沒人聽到，只能繼續任由海洋帶着他們走，這期間除了雨水與自己釣魚外，靠的都是出航前攜帶的中國湯(Chinese Soup)料理包維生，他與貓咪一天半包分著吃，才撐過這7個月。

最後雷克特在法屬留尼旺島岸邊幸運獲救，神奇的是當天剛好還是25日的聖誕節。獲救後的雷克特與小貓身體都沒有大礙，對於後續的打算，雷克特說「我現在只想好好休息，找一份工作，過個普通的生活」。
