Hansell表示最喜歡的是多倫多的建築。「古老而漂亮的低層建築與新高樓的混合真是太美了。許多新建築在視覺上也很有趣。四處走走很有意思。」
「食物是第二喜歡的！我們在會議上吃了很多餐，但其他食物都非常好吃。我們在 Planta 吃到了我一生中吃過的最好吃的素食壽司。而且多倫多很容易找到美食，我們去的每個地方都有很棒的選擇！老實說，我可以專門就食物開一個帖子。」

多倫多本地人會無休止地抱怨這座城市的交通困境，但對許多外地人來說，TTC至少「還行」。
「地鐵班次頻率還可以！周末每 6/7 分鐘一班，工作日每 4/5 分鐘一班（非高峰時段）。車站和車廂看起來很舊，但狀況還不錯。我們的酒店距離車站15分鐘路程，步行很方便，但每 10 分鐘也有一班公交車。」
「公交車我只坐了一小段距離，車上很乾凈基本準時。有軌電車想坐但沒機會，起來很可愛！也沒有騎單車去任何地方，但市中心的單車道覆蓋率很廣。」
「去地鐵或市中心附近的任何地方都很方便，但想要去更遠的朋友家就比較麻煩了，得坐地鐵，然後再坐班次很少的公交車。最後花了15加元打Uber。」

當地人表示近年來多倫多的生活質量在下降，街上有明顯的成癮和精神健康危機的跡象。但似乎與一些美國城市相比，多倫多的表現還不錯。
「對於生活質量來說，幾乎一直都感覺很安全，也沒有很晚出去。有一些明顯的無家可歸現象，但老實說，對於這樣規模的城市來說，這比我預期的要少。」
