該公司表示Ryan Smolkin上周日因最近一次手術的意外併發症去世。

Smolkin於2008年在多倫多218 Adelaide Street W開設了第一家門店。在他的領導下，這家肉汁薯條連鎖店Smoke’s的門店遍布加拿大各地，品牌也擴展到了美國。據悉，在加拿大和美國共開設了 150 多家門店。
在創建 Smoke’s 之前，Smolkin 擁有一家品牌和設計公司，其客戶包括 Nike、Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment、Molson Breweries 和 Corus Entertainment。
Smoke 的總裁兼首席運營官 Mark Cunningham 將接替 Smolkin 的職務。
