Renowned author Margaret Atwood and grocery store magnet Galen Weston and others have joined together to fight a proposed eight-storey condo development in their beloved Annex neighbourhood. The existing two-storey commercial building on the site would be demolished. The application to amend the zoning by-law proposes to redevelop the site at 321 Davenport Road by constructing an eight-storey, mixed-use building with 16 dwelling units and 30 parking spaces in a two-level garage located on the ground floor and basement levels.
