星島都市網報道：據Financial Post消息，中國對加拿大溫哥華港口出口的原油需求，今年已經枯竭。

Simon Fraser大學教授David Huntley負責監控卑詩省Burnaby Westridge碼頭的原油運輸，他說：今年到目前為止只有3輛運油船載着原油離開碼頭，但都不是去往中國的。

去年，中國從加拿大購買了12船原油（656萬桶），占卑詩省出口原油總量的近三分之一。根據溫哥華港口記錄，從2008至2018年間，除去2016和2017年，中國每年都從卑詩省進口原油。

Huntley在郵件中告訴Postmedia News：我的理解是，加拿大在2018年末以低價向中國輸出了大量原油，但當阿爾伯塔省石油減產，價格恢復正常時，中國就停止了進口。
