【星島都市網】一名25歲女子，涉嫌損毀猶太人聚居地一間咖啡店，被控刑事毀壞罪名。
警方指，周四早上接報Eglinton Avenue West夾Bathurst Street一間星巴克被人刑事毀壞，有人用海報和文字破壞餐廳。從社交媒體上發佈的圖片可見，商店的前門貼著「手上沾滿鮮血」、「星巴克殺人」和「停止殺害嬰兒」等字樣。
多倫多警方仇恨犯罪部門拘捕多倫多居民Skigh Johnson，她被控一項刑事毀壞罪，定於2024年1月11日出庭。
警方現時仍在調查案件，但事件目前尚未被列為仇恨犯罪。如果確定事件是出於偏見、成見或仇恨，那麼調查人員將諮詢檢察官，如果他們被指控並被定罪，法官在判刑時將考慮仇恨作為加重因素。
