【加拿大都市網】Durham警方公布的一段視頻，顯示警方使用Air1直升機追蹤後，成功抓住兩名搶劫匪。
周二，兩名嫌疑人涉嫌從Darlington Boulevard/King Street East的一家LCBO商店偷走了大量商品，然後駕駛一輛皮卡車高速逃逸，並在 2 號高速公路和 Clarington Boulevard 撞上了一輛汽車。
警察找到了這輛車並沿401 號高速公路上向西行駛開始追捕。後來因為Air1直升機可以更安全地跟蹤嫌疑車輛，警車因此停止追捕。
嫌疑人最終離開高速公路進入Whitby，並在那裡繼續行駛了一小段時間。Air1繼續監視嫌疑人，同時警察在該地區圍堵。
犯罪嫌疑人開車進入South Blair Street/Water Street 附近的一個大院，並試圖劫持一輛大型拖車。警方在Air1的協助下，及時趕到後將兩名嫌疑人拘捕。
Two suspects were pursued by Air1.
The suspects drove into a gated compound in south Whitby where they attempted to carjack a tractor trailer. Police converged on the area and took the two suspects into custody.

來自賓頓 23 歲的Ajitpal GILL面臨 13 項指控，包括：搶劫 – 劫車；妨礙警察；危險操作；5000元以下逃避警察和盜竊。
來自賓頓 40 歲的Gurvinder KANG面臨 11 項指控，包括：搶劫 – 劫車；擁有犯罪所得低於 5000元的財產；盜竊金額低於 5000 元且未能遵守保釋令x3。
